The BIG STAR ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS’ nominees list announced
Mumbai, Dec 16, 2010: The curtains were raised…spirits were heightened… and the nominations were unveiled for the BIG STAR ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS. This initiative brings together India’s colossal broadcast media companies - media conglomerate STAR India Pvt. Ltd. and multi-media entity Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd. Premiering on Dec 31 at 10 pm on Star Plus, BIG STAR Entertainment Awards has been conceptualized by RBNL’s experiential marketing arm, BIG LIVE. This first of its kind, unique people’s entertainment awards will honour the finest talent in the world of movies, television, music, theatre and sports.
This is the first democratic award which will give audience the opportunity to nominate their favorite personalities in movies, music, theatre and sports in the award categories. For the first time ever the awards will have:
- Entertainers being honored across platforms
- Entertainers & entertainment judged by the people and not jury
- Celebrating entertainers from the past decade and this year
- A holistic property supported by multi media promotions across relevant markets pan India
- A Grand Finale which will feature, the who’s who of the world of Entertainment
