Berlinale completes competition line up with Chinese film WHITE DEER PLAIN

Wang Quan’an’s BAI LU YUAN (WHITE DEER PLAIN) from the People’s Republic of China starring Zhang Fengyi, Zhang Yuqi, and Wu Gang, will have its world première in the competition section of the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale). Finally 18 feature films will compete for the Golden and Silver Bears out of the 23 films in the section. There will also be two special screenings. With this announcement the entire Berlinale programme is complete and the festival is set to roll in its full glory.
Bollywood film DON 2–THE KING IS BACK by Farhan Akhtar will have two screenings on 11th and 12th February, in Friedrichstadt-Palast, and a Press Conference on 10th February. Both the screenings will have English sub-titles. Mohan Kumar Valasala’s 15 minute short film PANCHABHUTA (THE FIVE ELEMENTS) will have four screening on 12, 13, 15, and 17 February while Rajan Khosa’s GATTU (Generation) will have three screenings on 16, 17, and 19 February.
