Cannes announces full list of Un Certain Regard Jury

The Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes International Film Festival also has its own jury. The Jury picks up the best film of the section and awards the Prize Un Certain Regard (Prix Un Certain Regard) with a cash bounty of €30,000. This year’s jury will be presided over by the British actor and director Tim Roth. He will be assisted in his duty by the other well-known names of world cinema. Here is the full list.

The Jury will announce its awards during a ceremony at the Debussy Theater, on Saturday, May 26, a day earlier than the concluding ceremony of the festival and the announcement of main awards. Among the twenty films in Un Certain Regard Selection is an Indian film titled MISS LOVELY directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. The film will also be competing for the prestigious Camera d’Or that goes to the best debut film in all the main and sidebar sections of the festival.
