Briefing the media here today at an exclusive interaction session at the 43rd International Film Festival of India, Nirmal Chander of ‘THE DREAMING TAJ MAHAL’ and Madhukar, Director of OZHIMURI, along with its star cast Lal and Mallika, interacted with the audience on their respective movies and shared their views on Indian cinema and their outlook on the progresses of the Indian cinema industry over its hundred years of existence. In the interaction session, these versatile directors spoke about their movies being showcased at the 43rd IFFI and interacted with the attendees on the messaging that their movies carry. Answering questions Nirmal Chander, director for the film DREAMING TAJ MAHAL, said, “This film revolves around a common man from Pakistan who wishes to see the Taj. Some time back as I used to work for a leading Sports channel, it was then I got a chance to cover the Pakistan Series. There I met a driver who told me about his dream to see the Taj Mahal. I had a long chat with him only when I got to understand his big dream.” He also added, “When the film got completed, I sent him the film and asked whether I could show the film further to which he agreed. Even till date, I’m trying to make efforts to bring him to India, but will someday surely succeed.”
