Ritam Bhatnagar (M: 9879391986), Director of AFP said that "Winning teams will not only be getting host of other prizes and certificate but a golden opportunity to make a film will be facilitated by us". Registrations for Ahmedabad Film Project are open from July 15th 2011 and will continue till August 15th 2011. Paritrupta Bagadia, co-founder of company, mentioned that since the opening of entries on July 15th, more than 75 teams having 532 participants have registered in this competition which is a huge number for Ahmedabad, and a large number of entries are still expected. We have received participation from all backgrounds of society, all ages and genders, which includes a team from a group of 12 year old kid, Sulay Shah as well. Sulay, along with his 11 other young team-mates is the youngest participant in AFP. Another interesting team has been a team entirely formed by girls for filmmaking, which will be headed by Alisha Attarwala. Teams from cities like Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Delhi, Jaipur and Mumbai have participated in this competition as well. We also received entries from Nepal for participation, but we tend to grow international only in our next edition. We have many teams from Surat and Baroda, apart from Ahmedabad. Sanjay Gadhvi, the man who has been known to give blockbusters like Dhoom and Dhoom-2 to Indian audience, and the man behind success of Yashraj Studios, will kick-off the first Ahmedabad Film Project.
