A R Rahman fails to clinch Oscar

A R Rahman missed the Oscars failing to win in both the 'Original Score' and 'Original Song' category at the 83rd Academy Awards.
He was nominated for his compositions for Danny Boyle's film 127 HOURS.
The 'Original Score' award went to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for the film THE SOCIAL NETWORK while the 'Original Song' award was clinched by Randy Newman for the song 'We Belong Together' in the film TOY STORY 3.
Earlier, in 2009, the Mozart of Madras had bagged both the awards for his composition in the film SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE by Danny Boyle.
