Kerala State Government Award for film Salt N Pepper
Producer Sadanandan Rangorath of Lucsam Creations receives the Kerala State Award for film Salt N Pepper. Salt N Pepper stars Lal, Asif Ali, Shwetha Menon and Nedumudi Venu and had Aashiq Abu directing the film. Shwetha Menon also won the best actress award for the same film. Salt N Pepper, the sleeper hit of 2011, saw Shwetha come up with a sterling act as a dubbing artiste and foodie. In fact, the movie was the appetiser for a feast of films that followed and rejuvenated the jaded palates of viewers of Malayalam cinema.
The film is now being planned in Hindi close on the heels of Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana.
