Lion’s milk, dog’s milk, snake venom, minerals, molluscs, gold, diamond, octopus ink and a host of species from the plant, animal and mineral kingdom could cure ailments like renal failure, arthritis, migraine, acute skin conditions, liver cirrhosis among others, when identified at the sensation level! Interesting? Well, the International seminar of Sensation Method of Homoeopathy brings to light facts that are much more than that!
Over 40 doctors and teachers from countries like US, UK, Germany, Egypt, Israel and Japan are currently in India to share their case study analyses and experiences with what the world now calls the “Sankaran method” of homeopathic treatment. The latest evolution in the 200 year-old therapy has been triggered by noted homeopath Dr. Rajan Sankaran and already has the world’s greatest and most experienced homeopaths swearing by its astounding efficacy. A seminar, jointly organised by the World Institute for Sensation Homeopathy (WISH) and International Academy of Advanced Homeopathy, The Other Song, had international doctors exchanging notes on their experiences with patients after employing this new form of holistic treatment.
“Earlier, homeopathic treatment was based on individual symptoms which were matched to those produced by the medicine. Now, we have discovered that there is a single, prominent symptom which affects not just the body but every area of a patient’s life. For instance, stiffness in the joints may also result in the feeling of stiffness in our attitude, our work and even our dreams. The sensation method is the discovery and treatment of this single underlining symptom,” Dr. Sankaran, fondly called the modern day Hanneman, explains.
The holistic method of treatment has brought about quite a few astounding results among patients all over the world, many of whom had been written off by mainstream allopathic doctors as hopeless.
The continuing research by the Academy has identified and classified remedies in three broad categories or kingdoms – plant, animal and mineral. They are further classified into specific individual species of that particular kingdom. According to observations by Dr. Sankaran and his team every patient exhibits a trait or set of traits corresponding to species in one of these kingdoms. Apart from the single, omnipresent symptom, these traits are also considered before selecting the remedy.
For instance, all ailments which have parenting issues at their core may broadly come under mammal remedies like homeopathic remedies prepared from cow, buffalo or goat’s milk. If aggression and the motto of ‘fight-to-the-finish’ are reflected in the symptoms, a medicine prepared from lion’s milk could do the trick.
These path-breaking observations are results of an over 15-year long and continuing research which Dr. Sankaran pioneered in India. The country, he says, is at the epicentre advancement in homoeopathy. India not only has the largest number of teachers in the world – over 50 per cent of all global teachers – but is also in the lead as far as further research is in the evolving field is concerned. “There were only 99 remedies during Dr. Hanneman’s time. Today, there are 4,000,” Dr. Sankaran says. The soft-spoken doctor likens the treatment with sensation method to a spiritual quest, where a patient is guided towards self-discovery and eventual wellness.
Dr Juergen Hansel, Chairman, WISH talked of how, “Sensation Method needs to be brought to homoeopaths o the world through teaching and training.”
Adds Dr Sudhir Baldota, “we have found very significant results when we combine the traditional homoepathic method with the sensation method. The current seminar will also bring to light more path-breaking findings, thanks to the experience of these doctors.”
Director Sooraj Barjatya talked about how homoeopathy made the vital difference to him as person and how “one single medicine changed my attitude towards life.”
Rajiv Bajaj of Bajaj Auto made his point when he stated that “homoeopathic principles changed my company’s growth pattern and today, I am Dr Sankaran’s fan, and a pupil like Eklavya.” Dr Sankaran added the punch stating that “how Mr Rajiv Bajaj made money out of the principles of homoeopathy was an interesting case study.”
