Fox's first Tamil film ENGAEYUM EPPOTHUM, completes 130 days at Box Office!

ENGAEYUM EPPOTHUM, Fox Star Studios and AR Murugadoss Productions' maiden co-production in Tamil has completed 130 successful days at the box office grossing a fantastic Rs.18 crores till now in Tamil (25 crores, with the Telugu dubbed version).
The romantic film, starring Jai, Anjali, Ananya and Sharvanand in the lead roles is one of the few Tamil films in recent times to accomplish 100 days at the box office, and is still running in a few cinemas in the region. The Telugu dubbed version is also a huge hit in Andhra Pradesh, grossing 7 crores.
A breezy romantic film with an ensemble cast, ENGAEYUM EPPOTHUM narrates the story of 2 couples whose lives are affected in a tragic road mishap. With story, screenplay, dialogue & direction by M. Saravanan, it has been appreciated for its strong message and powerful performances by its lead actors. The film has been highly appreciated by both critics and audiences alike, despite the absence of top stars, and helmed by a debutant director.
The film has followed its box office reign with successes in the Awards season, with main female lead Anjali bagging several Best Actress awards and director Saravanan too, garnering all the awards till now in Tamil Nadu, for best debutant director.

ENGAEYUM EPPOTHUM is the first of a 2 movie deal for co-producing Tamil films between Fox Star Studios & AR Murugadoss Productions.
The success of the film and its universal story appeal will see it being remade in Hindi by Fox Star Studios, starring leading actors of Bollywood. Furthermore, Fox is selling the rights for remakes in various other Indian languages such as Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali as well.
