Mugdha Godse encourages kids to save the earth with Nickelodeon's 'The Big Green Help'

It is said that, our environment is a mirror of our attitudes and expectations. In order to keep our environment healthy, it is us who need to take the first step forward. Keeping in view this thought, ‘Big Babol Triply presents Nickelodeon The Big Green Help’.
Now in its 3rd year, The Big Green Help initiative aims at encouraging kids to come forward and take steps for bringing about a change in the environment. Commemorating this thought, on the day of Earth Hour, kids and popular Nick toons Keymon Ache and Ninja Hattori, along with renowned Bollywood actress Mugdha Godse, planted saplings at the Ambience Mall in Gurgaon.
An international initiative, The Big Green Help, has helped millions of kids across 27 countries make a difference to the planet with their efforts. With the idea of ‘Earth ko karega nurture toh banega better future’, Nickelodeon’s endeavor is to inspire kids to play an active role in saving planet earth. The objective is also to translate a serious message such as deforestation in a language and tone that is non-preachy and would make kids sit up, take notice and do their bit.
Says MughdaGodse, “Global warming is a huge environmental challenge we face today. I am proud that Nickelodeon has come forward to inspire kids to play an active role in saving the earth through their initiative - The Big Green Help. I am very happy that I can do my bit by supporting this great activity.”
Adds Nina Elavia Jaipuria, EVP and GM, SONIC and Nickelodeon India says, “We truly believe that the future lies in the hands of today’s kids and hence it’s extremely important to instill the values of environment conservation and protection from a young age. This year, we at Nickelodeon are happy to initiate and engage kids in an innovative manner and bring about some change to make this earth a better place to live in.”
