Aamir lets Kiran take charge of DHOBHI GHAT

Aamir Khan started a trend of showing the first theatrical to media and having an informal interaction at the beginning of each film. So starting with TAARE ZAMEEN PAR, JAANE TU YA JAANE NA, GHAJINI, 3 IDIOTS and PEEPLI LIVE he always personally shows the first look or theatrical to media.
But for the first time, in over 3 years, he will not be there for the launch of first look of DHOBHI GHAT. Taken by surprise? Entire marketing team including Kiran Rao was also taken a back. Aamir wants Kiran Rao to take the center stage and wants everyone to know this is a Kiran Rao film. So on November 17 when there is a dekho at the glimpses of the film, Aamir Khan would not be there.
DHOBHI GHAT will be releasing on Jan 21. It stars Prateik and Aamir Khan and two new actors in female lead.
