Playing a fake CBI agent in his upcoming film SPECIAL CHABBIS (SPECIAL 26), Akshay has realized the importance of confidence in people's life.
While promoting his film, Akshay has taken a role of social reformer. He is now conducting a workshop at Varanasi and giving out tips to boost confidence to the locals at large.
Neeraj Pandey, director of the film describes Akshay’s character as confidence artiste rather than a con man as he earns people’s faith through sheer confidence.
When teased whether Akshay will give pointers on how to lie with a straight face, Neeraj quips, “Of course not! In our country there are lots of people who lag behind in life only due to lack of self-confidence. So, to carry forward this socially relevant message, Akshay will share instances from his personal experience about how to cope with criticism and take everything in your stride rather than let every barb get to you. And of course, this is open to all who are interested.”
When asked about the unusual choice of location away from the teeming crowds of the metropolitan cities, Neeraj says, “Akshay wanted to broaden his reach and has never done anything in that part of the country. This was the chance and Varanasi proved to be an ideal location.”
