Arjun to start half a dozen films

If one thought that post RAAJNEETI and HOUSEFULL, Arjun Rampal would continue to play a brooding character in most of his upcoming films then that's not quite the case. That's because he has either signed or is in the process of confirming over half a dozen new films, all of which (surprisingly) belong to contrasting genres.
"It has been half a year since the release of his last WE ARE FAMILY. One would have expected him to immediately start working on multiple films but he didn't want to start anything in a hurry. He has been clearly strategising the new phase of his career post the super success of RAAJNEETI and HOUSEFULL and is now dabbling in different genres," informs a friend of Arjun.
These genres include a film around sexual harassment at workplace where his co-star is Chitrangda Singh. Arjun has already confirmed doing this Prakash Jha production which would be directed by Sudhir Mishra. He is also all set to begin work on a war film. This is not all as there is a psychological thriller on the anvil as well. In addition there is a home production of his as well.
"Other than aforementioned films, Arjun is going romantic with a love story. All of this would be rounded up with a comedy, RASCALS, where he is in an extended guest appearance which, as per director David Dhawan, 'shows a new side of Arjun that has been hitherto unseen'. In addition, he is also in the process of seriously considering a film with Neeraj Pandey (of A WEDNESDAY fame)," continues the friend.
And then of course there is RA. ONE where Arjun would be seen in the title role and an antagonist to Shahrukh Khan.
Guess it would be a long party ahead for Arjun that could well be spilling over till 2012 as well.
