Asin clears air on John and Ranbir starrers

Tuesday, November 16, 2010 5:29:26 PM (IST) | Joginder Tuteja, Bollywood Trade Editorial

Asin has had enough of speculations, rumours, hearsay and controversy about her doing (or not doing) films in Bollywood. Though for the last six months there have been countless stories surrounding her presence (or the lack of it) in a John Abraham starrer romantic action fare (which is the remake of Tamil hit KAKKA KAKKA), Asin was maintaining a dignified silence. However, now that rumours are refusing to evaporate, Asin is in mood to take it all lying down and has come out in open.

"There have been so many stories running around whether I am doing the film or not. People wrote their own stuff and had their imagination running wild. No one bothered to clarify with me and I too didn't speak about it. I guess enough is enough now. Let me state on record that I am not doing KAKKA KAKKA remake", states Asin, hence bringing to end an on-going speculation.

Meanwhile, one wonders what happens to much-in-news SILENCE which is to be directed by Anurag Basu. There have been on and off news bytes around her being the part of the film but a concrete announcement is yet awaited.

"Well, at the moment I don't really want to talk about it much. After all there has been so much noise already been made. I guess I would want to maintain silence around SILENCE", Asin makes a teasing remark before signing off.

Asin's next release would be READY opposite Salman Khan.
