BBUDDAH packs quite a punch, Big B mania is intact!

When the first visuals of Big B's BBUDDAH...HOGA TERRA BAAP were aired countless fans of Amitabh Bachchan went delirious seeing his iconic dialogues from his 70's-80's and even early 90's blockbusters.
However, as soon as the promos with Amitabh Bachchan in colourful pastoral shades singing, dancing and punching appeared, his detractors started questioning Big B's wisdom and wondered whether the megastar would be able to carry it at his present age. But what they failed to understand is that he has done this successfully over three decades with aplomb and till as late as BADE MIYAN CHOTE MIYAN in the year 1998.
Well, the trial shows are over and the verdict is uniform that the Amitabh Bachchan magic is very much intact. Not only is the Puri Jagannath directed film high on entertainment quotient but as always Big B rises above the script, and especially in the second half he is just unbelievably good and the claps and <i>seetis</i> are back. And we are not surprised.
