Beau Siddharth prepones PAAN SINGH TOMAR for Vidya's KAHAANI

Exactly a month ago we had reported how Vidya Balan had found herself on crossroads while trying to balance her personal and professional life. Reason being that her KAHAANI and beau Siddharth Roy Kapur's PAAN SINGH TOMAR were all set to clash at the box office. As has turned out, love has scored a win here with Siddharth pulling his film back by a week.
'Yes, PAAN SINGH TOMAR will now arrive on 2nd March while KAHAANI will stick to its 9th March release. In any case if at all there was one film that could be moved around, it had to be former since publicity material of latter had been dispatched across the country. Every promo, poster, standee etc. clearly communicated that 9th March was the D-Day for Vidya starrer,' informs our trade source.
On the other hand even though Vidya has found support from Siddharth, she would be expecting that Tusshar Kapoor, her co-star of THE DIRTY PICTURE, comes up with a similar gesture as well. Since Tusshar is planning to bring his CHAAR DIN KI CHANDNI on the same day as KAHAANI, there is still some competition ahead.
When contacted, Tusshar said, 'See, as of now 9th March is final for our film. In any case KAHAANI and CHAAR DIN KI CHANDNI are two different films so there shouldn't be any competition.'
Since Holi falls on Thursday, 8th March, indications are that CHAAR DIN KI CHANDNI may well get pre-poned by a day to make the best use of the holiday. However that may just be the last resort if Vidya doesn't manage to convince her friend in the same way as the one she loves.
