Emraan Hashmi threatened by Randeep Hooda for JANNAT 2?

Over last few weeks lot has been heard and written about how Emraan Hashmi has been tense with Randeep Hooda's presence in his pet project JANNAT 2. While the MURDER actor has all the right reasons to believe that he is the central force when it comes to taking the JANNAT franchise forward, attention showered by Bhatts over Randeep had ignited fire between the two actors. Just when it seemed that things had calmed down a little, Randeep's bravura performance in SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER threatens to bring this rivalry to fore all over again.
“Randeep has seen all-around positive reviews coming his way for the film which released last weekend. After ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI, this is yet another instance when Randeep has managed to keep his audience as well as critics happy despite a multi starrer set up," says an industry insider, "Yes, he had a bad phase in the interim when movies like RU BA RU, MERE KHWABON MEIN JO AAYE, KARMA AUR HOLI and LOVE KHICHDI proved to be disasters, both critically as well as commercially. However things have been looking up for him now."
Now this is something that Emraan can't be expected to take lightly since Bhatts are known for appreciating talent more than any personal relationships. However there are many out there who continue to vouch for Emraan's standing in the industry and claim that Randeep still has good distance to cover before he can catch up with him on the popularity quotient.
"It would be foolhardy to say that Emraan is being threatened by Randeep's presence in the film," says a source, "After all, he is clearly in list of Top-10 actors today and has other interesting films like THE DIRTY PICTURE, SHANGHAI, DAAYAN and RAAZ 3 lined up. He is in a great position and doesn't have anything to worry about."
