GYRAH CHALLIS KI LAST METRO story leak upsets Director

Friday, November 25, 2011 3:36:36 PM (IST) | Bollywood Trade Editorial

The cat is out of the bag about the plot of GYRAH CHALLIS KI LAST METRO which would be shot in Delhi and produced by Amit Chandrra the co producer of KARTHIK CALLING KARTHIK. The sequel to the 2007 sleeper hit EK CHALLIS KI LAST LOCAL has been in the headlines of late ever since the news of the first films lead Abhay Deol being replaced by Vivek Oberoi broke out.

Now if sources are to be believed the film revolves around a real life robbery that took place at the Delhi Metro. The said event occurred in June of this year when the ticket sale proceeds were stolen from a few stations.

The source also goes onto add that like the first film where the lead protagonist ends up getting a huge sum of money after a night of misadventures the second installment too will be along similar lines with a major twist; however unlike the first film where the actress was just a part of the actor's journey the second will have the actress playing a parallel lead with both the lead actor and actresses fates being interconnected.

Also heard that writer-director Sanjay Khanduri is upset with stories being leaked of about the film right from casting to minor nuances and to stop the same he has decided not to share the final draft with anyone but a handful of his trusted associates will have access to the script. As far as the actors are concerned, only their specific scenes will be given to them.
