Has Kareena replaced Rani in the Karan-SRK camp?

There was a time when Rani Mukerjee was ruling the roost in the Hindi film industry and was a favourite with the Karan Johar-Shah Rukh Khan camp. After KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI, Rani Mukerjee's presence had become a must in most Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar movies, be it SRK's home banner ventures like CHALTE CHALTE and PAHELI or Karan's very own Dharma Productions.
However with the passage of time things have changed and so has the lead actress in the Karan-SRK camp. If we look into the last few years gone by we will see that Kareena Kapoor has somehow managed to replace Rani from her pedestal. Not that Kareena is a new entrant to the Karan-SRK camp. She has already worked with them years ago in SRK's historical ASOKA and Karan's KABHI KHUSHI KABHIE GHAM. But off late Kareena has become a permanent fixture in most of their projects. Karan's KURBAAN, WE ARE FAMILY and SRK's ambitious sci-fi project RA.ONE can be cited as examples.
Well, certainly Kareena is one of the few actresses, who shares a cordial relationship with all the three Khans. She is already doing MY LUV STORY opposite the newly re-invented Salman Khan and has an all time blockbuster with Aamir Khan in the form of 3 IDIOTS. Need we say more!
