SALMAN KHAN and KAREENA KAPOOR in BODYGUARD
After an earth shaking first day Salman Khan's latest release, BODYGUARD, continues its amazing run at the box-office, netting about 52 crores in three days from India.
While Wednesday saw the best ever day for Bollywood with 20.50 crores (beating DABANGG), Thursday chipped in with 17.50 crores, and as per early reports Friday netted around 14 crores. As we had estimated in our earlier report, the Salman-Kareena starrer looks set for an 80-85 crore total during the extended five day weekend! The film is also doing superbly in the UK and Middle East.
The other releases of the week, Shoaib Mansoor's BOL, the English and dubbed film MUMMY PUNJABI and Anurag Kashyap's THAT GIRL IN YELLOW BOOTS (that released on Friday), are struggling. Comparatively speaking BOL is doing the best followed by MUMMY PUNJABI in the North while THAT GIRL IN YELLOW BOOTS has to be content with only critical acclaim from the expected critics.
