Karan Johar begins BOMBAY TALKIES shooting in real locations

After the success of STUDENT OF THE YEAR, filmmaker Karan Johar returns to direction with BOMBAY TALKIES, an ode to cinema by four prolific film makers - Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar.
For Karan's segment, it is being said that the director will be telling the story of a filmmaker who sells love through cinema starring Rani Mukerji, Randeep Hooda and Saqib Siddique in pivotal roles.
Set in the realistic backdrop of Mumbai the film commences shooting today in real locations. Karan Johar known for shooting abroad gets into the streets and real location with this film.
While Karan and Rani come together after a long gap, he would be directing Randeep Hooda for the first time.
BOMBAY TALKIES is a landmark feature film of this year releasing on the centenary date, 3rd May 2013, when the film industry completes 100 years of cinema.
