The young aspirants of Kolkata had an electrifying session as the leading animators of India who worked in the film TOONPUR KA SUPERHERO (TKS) interacted with them on the various aspects of the discipline and film-making.
Yunus Bhukari, Visual effect director of the film TOONPUR KA SUPERHERO, Nirmal Jani, cinematographer and Ajay Singh of Pixion Studios were there in the city to be a part of the seminar titled Arena 'Perspective seminar' on VFX in Bollywod'.
The students were shown the various procedures and manners in which animation was done in the first live action cum 3D animation feature film of India, TOONPUR KA SUPERHERO.
"Every step was taken very minutely to ensure a good balancing between live shooting and synchronization," Yunus Bhukari said.
"It was a learning experience for me. I am from the old school where we used to perform creativity through the camera. But the basic thing in both are same and I was here to speak on these basics of creativity," Nirmal Jain told IBNS.
Speaking on the difference of making an animation film and a normal film, he said, "Here one has to wait for two years, there are so many execution steps that are needed to be passed one by one to give the film the much needed structure."
Jain also said that he is planning to work in more animation films after the success of this venture.
Released in December last year the film featured leading B-town actors, Ajay Devgan and Kajol. The film was directed by Kireet Khurana.
