After a rather long break of two years, Puja Gupta is returning to the big screen. The film is GO GOA GONE and yet again, she finds herself in the middle of an ensemble affair, just like was the case in her debut flick F.A.L.T.U. While she wasn't really paired opposite anyone in the Remo D'Souza directed film, one wonders whether she has Kunal Khemu or Vir Das for company in the Raj-Krishna zomcom.
'Well, for that you have to watch the film to figure it out,' winks Kunal, 'What I can tell you though is that it is actually a very cool role that she is enjoying in the film. She is in fact one of the boys. Also, her character has an edge to it as well. She isn't playing a regular girl next door. Instead, she has a certain cool quotient going with her.'
While she is pretty much enticing all the young boys around her 'Slowly Slowly', one can well imagine that producers Saif Ali Khan, Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla must have brought her on board for imparting more than just glamour quotient.
Says Raj, 'Let me be honest; we wanted a girl who is a hottie and at the same time not be one of those stereotypical girls who we see on screen every now and then. Come on, she is here to shoot zombies no less! For that we had to get such a girl on board who could well enact the part of someone free spirited who can fend for herself.'
As for the romantic angle, Krishna is a little more forthcoming. He says, 'There isn't any pairing per se opposite anyone. However as for the romantic angle, there is a thin line in there. When you have a girl in your story, you can't totally ignore that angle, isn't it?'
We would love to see how that eventually plays when the film releases all over on 10th May.
