On June 12, 2012, US based news magazine named the internationally acclaimed, awards sweeper feature film, LIFE! CAMERA ACTION... as one of the top 10 outstanding movies made by Indian American filmmakers till-date. The film is written, produced & directed by Mumbai born, US based, Rohit Gupta.

"It's very encouraging" commented Rohit upon hearing this news.

Other films that made the list include MISSISSIPPI MASALA, NAMESAKE (Mira Nair); FIRE, EARTH (Deepa Mehta); PROVOKED (Jag Mundhra); 9 ELEVEN (Manan Singh Katohara); PATANG (Prashanth Bhargava); THE SIXTH SENSE, UNBREAKABLE (M. Night Shyamalan); Winner of over 60 international accolades & awards, LIFE! CAMERA ACTION...  is a timeless classic picture that narrates a story of a next door girl REINA (played by New York based, actress 'Dipti Mehta') in pursuit of her dreams against all odds. The film also features an award winning inspirational song "Chalte Jaana Hain (Have to keep walking)" sung by renowned Bollywood singer KK.

The plot is filled with pivotal moments, which affect the outcome of the character's actions, and at each one of these "what if" moments; the film takes the viewer on a roller coaster ride of emotions leading to introspection.
