Mugdha: GALI GALI CHOR HAI was always Akshaye's film

GALI GALI CHOR HAI has released and while there have been positive reviews all around for Akshaye Khanna in particular; the leading ladies haven't seen similar favour coming their way. The love triangle of sorts that has been explored with the character of Shreya suspecting Akshaye of being in a relationship with Mugdha hasn't really been lapped up since it diverts viewer's attention. However quiz Mugdha about this and one hears that she doesn't carry any regret whatsoever since the film was always expected to be centered on Akshaye.
"Everyone's view about corruption is important in the film. Yes, it is Akshaye's film at the end of it all but then I think that as long as you are a part of a good film and your work is appreciated, it doesn't matter how many eyeballs you really end up grabbing. You should be content that you did some good work," philosophizes Mugdha.
She is also particularly happy that after Bobby Deol (Help), she has managed to rub shoulders with Akshaye, who is again known for his reclusive nature.
"We all know that he is an introvert so I was prepared for that," says Mugdha, "I am aware about his temperament and knew him from my common friends due to which I wasn't scared about approaching him. Having said that, it was a fantastic experience working with him. He is a very different human being when compared to all my earlier co-stars. He is very soft spoken and a thorough professional. An extremely genuine guy, he is a sweetheart."
