Nargis' mom wants her to continue acting

Even as Nargis Fakhri continues to hop between India and abroad for work and holiday/personal visits, she is being encouraged to continue acting post ROCKSTAR. So much so that the biggest support is coming from her mother who has been 'astonished' ever since her film hit the screens and was declared a success. Now even as the film has completed its run and Nargis is back to her normal life, there is good enough motivation for her to pursue acting.
"My mom was shocked when she saw me in ROCKSTAR. After the movie ended, she exclaimed like 'Oh my God, you could well have started doing films when you were even younger'," laughs Nargis, "In fact a lot of my friends saw it not just once but twice. They are very proud of me because they know the story of my life and what I am in reality. They know the person that I am more than what I was as an actor in ROCKSTAR. They are super happy for me that I have been able to do something like this. Coming from them who mean so much to me, I too feel proud."
How about Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir Kapoor who played a gamble by investing on an out and out newcomer like her? Has she heard back from the duo ever since the film released and turned into a success?
"See, they haven't come to me and suddenly started talking about my performance now," says Nargis after a pause, "However they have been supportive of me from Day One. They know that everyone's perception about an individual is different no matter who she is and from where does she come from. I am so lucky that I had Imtiaz and Ranbir as my director and actor for the very first film."
Well lady, now we would love to see whom do you pair up with next. We are waiting.
