Neil goes through look change for ITALIAN JOB

NEIL NITIN MUKESH
A little more than a month back when LAFANGEY PARINDEY had released, Neil Nitin Mukesh saw some criticism coming his way from a few quarters who felt that he was way too neat (and chikna - as some commented) in the role of a 'tapori'.

"Don't even remind me of that time. I was appalled when some felt I was too good looking for my part of a tapori. Come on, can't people in bastis and chawls  be good looking," questions Neil when prodded further.

However, he is willing to surprise audience now with a new look that he is planning to don for the 'bad man' that he is playing in the Abbas Mustan remake of THE ITALIAN JOB. "I guess this new look should force them to keep detractors quiet for a while at least," is all that Neil is willing to comment on the remarks that were made, which he truly found derogatory at that time.

Talking about his look, Neil does throw a hint about growing a beard and long hair for his role.

"I can't be talking much about my look since it is still under the process of being finalised. But yes, to give my character a mean look, I would most likely be seen in a beard and long hair. It will stand out for sure", winks Neil who first got noticed when he played a character with grey shades in debut flick JOHNNY GADDAAR.

While he waits for the shooting of THE ITALIAN JOB to kick start in the month of November, he is also looking forward to the release of SAAT KHOON MAAF where he plays one of the seven husbands of Priyanka Chopra. This Vishal Bharadwaj directed film is expected to release in January next year. "It was wonderful interacting with such talented people in the film even though that was for a relatively smaller part. Well, there is always a next time," comments Neil before signing off.
