AAMIR KHAN AND KIRAN RAO
When you think about Aamir, big budgets naturally come to mind. But, no more now. The star is not getting any lavish treatment in Reema Kagti's upcoming film which will be a thriller.

According to reliable sources, 'There will be no lavish budgets for this Aamir starrer. The trend so far has been that whichever movie Aamir has acted in; the budgets have never been a constraint. But, this time, the trend will get reversed. For the first time Aamir will be part of a film that will see no expensive budgets.'

This reversal is trend is attributed to many factors. Chief among them is the fact that big budget movies have miserably fared at the box-office in recent times. Now, a mid-budget movie with big stars is becoming the safe bet for survival in bollywood. Reema Kagti's film with Aamir will strengthen this trend since for the first time a bollywood biggie will come with a budget limit.

Even his latest film DHOBI GHAT, which was directed by wife Kiran Rao, was a medium budget film.
