Now Kiran Rao turns song director

Here's a first for Kiran Rao. After directing DHOBI GHAT, Kiran Rao has now directed a music video from DELHI BELLY. It's called Switty Tera Pyaar Chaida. The song video was unveiled at an event today.
Said an excited Kiran, "I enjoyed directing the video. It was a welcome change for me and gave me a new perspective."
The song has been choreographed by Baba Yadav, who has been Saroj Khan's assistant.
Kiran further added, "Aamir Khan also contributed in the song. He briefed Baba Yadav about it."
The song is a Punjabi rap song sung by Keerthi Sagathia and written by Munna Dhiman.
Now that Kiran has directed the song, we might well see her directing mainstream films unlike DHOBI GHAT, which was for niche audience.
