PEEPLI [LIVE] director and Aamir at loggerheads

Though they might have given bollywood one of its most memorable films in recent times, but it seems director Anusha Rizvi and producer Aamir Khan are witnessing the first cracks in their bonding.
PEEPLI [LIVE], which was a roaring hit, is caught in a controversy. Its director Anusha Rizvi has refused the idea of promoting the film in the US for the Oscar race. On the other hand, Aamir is too excited to promote his film for the foreign audiences.
This is not the first time that Aamir is facing the heat from his directors. Earlier, when he produced the much talked about film TAARE ZAMEEN PAR, there was a low key controversy surrounding Aamir and its creative director Amole Gupte.
Talking about PEEPLI [LIVE] and the fact that she won't promote the film in the US, Anusha says, "I will not be going to promote PEEPLI [LIVE] in USA. I would rather have 50 people watch the film without all this promotion than 200 people watch it with the hype."
Well, with Aamir Khan all set to promote his film PEEPLI [LIVE] for the Oscars and his director against this very idea; let's see how this clash shapes up the equation between the producer and the director.
