Pritam composes for Dharma's YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI

For the first time ever, Karan Johar has drifted from his usual choice of music composers, who are either Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy or Vishal Shekhar, and has joined hands with Pritam for his forthcoming YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI.
After the success of WAKE UP SID, Ranbir and Ayan will be teaming up for the second time for YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI. This will be a dream come true for all the fans eagerly waiting for the team to work together.
Sources say that, 'Although Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have composed a good album for Ayan's debut film WAKE UP SID, the young filmmaker was keen to work with Pritam this time around. He apparently wanted fresh tunes. Ayan spoke to Karan about his intention of roping in Pritam as the music director for YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI. Karan understood Ayan's point of view and agreed immediately. Karan made this exception for Ayan since he loves the script and is very confident about the film.'
Karan Johar confirmed the news and added, 'This will be the first time Pritam will compose music for a Dharma film. We are very excited to have him on board. It will be interesting to see Ayaan and Pritam connect musically.'
