Rajkumar Santoshi: I will work with Shahid Kapoor again very shortly

Santoshi is very impressed with Shahid’s dedication as an actor. Shahid Kapoor who has his hands full this year seems to have impressed quite a few with his professionalism. And his next release is PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
The actor who has been shooting non-stop for the film since December last year is said to be shooting for as long as 14 to 16 hours in a day. “The schedules have been really strenuous. But through all this, Shahid has been really a huge support. In fact, not once has he complained about the kind of hectic schedules we have,” says a unit member.
The insider goes on to add that not only during the shoots, but in between his shots too, Shahid is always around and helping out as much as possible. “He’s impressed all of us with his professionalism. He’s usually one of the first to arrive and among the last ones to leave. We have been shooting non-stop without a break for as long as 16 hours, but not once has Shahid complained or asked for a day off. Besides, the effort and hard work he puts into playing his role is also commendable. Not only are the cast, but the crew and Santoshi<i>ji</i> all very impressed with him,” adds the insider.
Santoshi seconds it saying that Shahid has been one of the most hands-on actors he’s ever worked with. “Shahid doesn’t only come on the sets, does his job professionally and leaves. He is there constantly adding to the drama and the comedy. This is the first time I’m working with Shahid and I will work with him again very shortly,” reveals Santoshi.
