Re-invention is Bipasha's survival mantra!!

The dusky beauty with brains, Bipasha Basu, will complete a decade in the Hindi film industry this year. Her first film, Abbas - Mustan's AJNABEE, opposite Akshay Kumar released in September 2001 and ever since there was no looking back for this highly talented actress, and Bips (as she is fondly referred to by her friends) has held her position at the top five amongst Bollywood actress. Considering the fact that so many new faces (actresses!) have cropped up ever since Bipasha's debut a decade back this is no mean achievement!
While interacting with the media regarding the promotion of her recently released DUM MAARO DUM, where once again she was flooded with accolades and praise for her authentic portrayal of a Goanese girl caught in the dirty drug dealing, Bips underlined the reasons for her longevity in the Hindi film industry. Bipasha attributed her success to of course hard work but she also emphasized that its' her desire to reinvent with each film and each role and feels that this is what has made her survive so long and also the fact that even as a person she has tried to reinvent herself.
Bipasha also stated that initially she too was caught in an image where she was offered mostly glamorous roles but now after LAMHAA and AAKROSH producers are offering her different characters and there are more chances of experimenting with her looks and image now that she is an established name in the findustry.
Certainly, Bips has proved beyond doubt she is not just all about hot bod and good looks but a great actress as well.
