RICHA CHADDA and SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI
When you have a meticulous filmmaker like Sanjay Leela Bhansali at the helm, you indeed can’t escape perfection! Recently, Ranveer Singh, who is the lead star of RAM-LEELA, was quoted saying that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has bettered him as an actor. And now GANGS OF WASSEYPUR & FUKREY fame, Richa Chadda, who also stars in the year’s most awaited film RAM-LEELA, is going gaga over the director.
“I learnt a lot from Sanjay Sir. Working with him, I learnt that one must work hard every day, one should be always grounded & have craving for knowledge. One must always be humble in order to grow and become a better person & better actor. One should never let ego clash into one’s craft or let petty distractions lose the focus because eventually it will affect your performance,” says the 24-year old actress.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is quite known for his tough ways with his actors. However, as per Richa, who has worked with filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, etc in the past, she never became the victim of SLB's stringency or temper.
''Fortunately all of my directors have been tough taskmasters....Bhansali sir may be known for his eccentricity and temper but I felt nothing of that sort or came across that side of his. He was, on the contrary, very understanding and loving. He would scream at the whole world except me,'' says Richa.
Also starring Deepika Padukone, RAM-LEELA is all set to release on November 15, 2013.
