Rohit slows down on BOL BACHCHAN

BOL BACHCHAN
Rohit Shetty is neck deep into making sure that he gets yet another huge entertainer and a box office winner rolling in the form of BOL BACHCHAN. The film arrives close on the heels of SINGHAM which has turned into a massive success for both him as well as Ajay Devgn. Just like SINGHAM which was completed and released in a record time, one wonders whether Rohit is looking at speeding up work on BOL BACHCHAN as well?

"We started SINGHAM in March and released it in July by working for 132 days at a stretch and spending 20 hours a day. These numbers well indicate how tired I would be today. So no, I am in no mood to make BOL BACHCHAN as a quickie. I want to make it a normal pace and once I start shooting for it this month, I would wrap it up by January next year," reveals Rohit.

A terrific success rate over the years isn't making Rohit demand huge budget for either BOL BACHCHAN or for any of his future projects. Even though he now has back to back successes in SINGHAM, GOLMAAL 3 and ALL THE BEST, Rohit insists that budget of his films would again be dictated by the subjects and won't necessarily be bigger than his last released flick.

"SINGHAM was made at a cost which was 25% lesser than that of GOLMAAL 3. I could have jacked up the budget but what's the point in doing that," wonders Rohit, "I believe you need to take care of business and economics and that's the reason why Ajay and I are successful today. Just because GOLMAAL 3 made 100 crores didn't mean that SINGHAM would have necessarily done 120 crores. Ultimately you have to keep the calibre of a film's subject in mind. It is rather stupid to make your next film at an extended budget just because your last had made X amount of money."

Well said Rohit.
