Bollywood superstar Salman Khan may have been sidelined from a few award functions as far the nominations are concerned, but now the actor is a strong contender for others, especially his arch rival Shahrukh Khan, at Chevrolet Apsara Awards 2012 which will take place on Wednesday, January 25th at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai.
The warring Khans of Bollywood, Salman and Shahrukh, will battle it out in the same category of 'Best Actor' at the coveted award show. While Salman has earned nomination for his highly successful film BODYGUARD, Shahrukh has been nominated for DON 2.
The other nominees for the best actor in a leading role are Emraan Hashmi for MURDER 2, Ranbir Kapoor for ROCKSTAR and Ajay Devgn for SINGHAM.
Nominees and winners are meticulously chosen by the members of the Film & Television Producers Guild of India, making it the official Award for the Film and Television industry.
