The lead pair of MAUSAM, Shahid and Sonam Kapoor, were in the industrial town of Kanpur yesterday with regards to the promotion of their upcoming Friday release and interacted with the media. With the threat of MAUSAM being postponed to 23rd September looming large, due to objections by the Indian Air Force, the first question put forth to them was naturally related to it.
To that Shahid and Sonam replied, "We are sure that any objections put forth by the IAF would be attended to pretty soon. The IAF have cooperated wholeheartedly with us during the shoot of the film, and it's merely a 30 second scene has been objected to. And since we want that the perception of the IAF to be correct we are doing our best to take up the corrective measure, and we are sure that things will be alright soon enough and that the film will release amidst great joy." Shahid also disclosed that MAUSAM was very close to his heart saying, "Yes, I am proud of working in my dad's film." He also disclosed that he gave his entire time to the film and acquired six packs during the course of the shoot. Well, here is wishing that all the hurdles being faced by the makers are resolved soon so that the film gets to release as per its original schedule.
