Shemaroo acquires the entire audio catalog of Pen India

Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd., one of the leading content provider and aggregators in Indian Digital space has acquired the entire audio catalogue of Pen India to leverage it across all platforms including the emerging new media platforms. Shemaroo, with its extensive strategies of acquiring content and deploying it on different mediums, today ranks among the top 10 VAS (Value Added Services) players in Digital Media Space.
The deal offers Shemaroo the Perpetual rights for major part of Pen's catalog. Pen's huge library of bollywood music which includes more than 1000 songs will be exploited on various digital platforms including mobile and internet along with traditional mediums like physical, performance rights, radio etc. The library includes the work from the established music directors like Jatin Lalit, Anu Malik, Sameer Sen and Anand Raj Anand among others. The music of super hit films Like CHACHI 420, RAJA KI AAYGI BAARAT, AAKROSH and Aa Gale Lag Jaa also form the part of the catalog.
