F.A.L.T.U, DUM MAARO DUM and NAUGHTY @ 40

The year started on an extremely positive note for the Hindi film industry with two clear hits in the first month itself - NO ONE KILLED JESSICA and YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA. Even DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI turned out to be an average performer. Despite a setback in PATIALA HOUSE, February closed on a bright note with TANU WEDS MANU. However Bollywood seems to have hit a roadblock with the arrival of the month of March. Not only is the ICC World Cup cricket advancing towards it's peak, even the Board exams in many parts of the country have dissuaded filmmakers from having any major release in the month of March. There are names like YEH FAASLEY, SHAGIRD and a host of dubbed films. The only significant release of the month is Govinda's NAUGHTY@40. It's truly a month of drought for the Hindi film industry. But no need to panic as the next month, April will bring the excitement back! The first day itself will see Aby Baby's Abhishek Bachchan playing his GAME. Later on in the month Abhi will be back with his second slick flick DUM MARO DUM. Giving Abhishek company will be Vashu Bhagnani's F.A.L.T.U on the same day as GAME and the very next week (April 8) it will be Akshay Kumar along with Sonam Kapoor saying THANK YOU. Well that would certainly compensate and here is looking forward to a moolah laden 'wet' April after a 'dry' March.
