GUL PANAG IN TURNING 30

One of next Friday releases, TURNING 30!!!, starring Gul Panag and Purab Kohli has been produced under the banner of Prakash Jha Productions and has a woman director at the helm of affairs. The director Alankrita Shrivastava discloses that she has been assisting Prakash Jha for over a period of seven years and she distinctly remembers that he was shooting for GANGAAJAL when she joined him.

Talking to a fellow journalist the director spoke at length about the story line of her debut film TURNING 30, saying that it is not a universal Indian story but a very urban one, and is woven around a tight screenplay. She explained that the problems faced by the female lead protagonist in the film is identifiable and could be faced by any other girls or women residing in big towns and cities. She also disclosed the message that the film conveys which is that people go about everywhere in search of happiness but the real happiness lies within themselves.

Looks like with TURNING 30!!! Alankrita has found her real happiness and we hope that the box-office result brings in more happiness and success for her.
