WE ARE FAMILY misses the Overseas bus!

Strange as it may sound but a Karan Johar project, featuring his favourite Kajol, as also Kareena Kapoor, has failed to appeal to the Overseas audience! Yes, we are indeed talking about WE ARE FAMILY, directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra.
As per the available numbers WE ARE FAMILY has grossed a very ordinary £162,863 from UK during the opening weekend (3-5 September) and an equally below the mark $366,354 from US during the 4-day extended opening weekend (3-6 September).
The performance is all the more shocking as Karan's last project featuring Kajol, MY NAME IS KHAN, had reset the Overseas record for Bollywood. But on that occasion there was a certain Shah Rukh Khan giving company to Kajol and Karan Johar was himself the director!
