X-MEN: FIRST CLASS opens excellently in India

Fox Star Studios’ latest addition in the X-MEN saga has already made records of sorts with a weekend opening of Rs 10.02 crores. The James McAvoy - Michael Fassbender starrer action flick is running to packed houses across India and has received the biggest opening for a non 3D Hollywood movie in 2011!
With dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS has been welcomed by fans from all parts of the county. Amongst new releases, it is X MEN: FIRST CLASS that scores better than the all Hindi releases that opened this week.
Registering the 2nd biggest opening of 2011 for a Hollywood film in India, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS has also raced far ahead of all the other films that released this year, including FAST AND THE FURIOUS FIVE.
Touted as one of the most entertaining films of the franchise, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS has surpassed weekend collections of the franchise’s previous films in India, including the 2009 super hit X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE starring Hugh Jackman.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the film takes you back to where it all started. The storyline of the movie revolves around the friendship between Charles Xavier a.k.a. Professor X and Erik Lensherr a.k.a. Magneto before it evolved into an eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-men.
